Here the client was not using the basement family room area because it felt uncomfortable and bare.  We suggested the walls be painted a warm neutral and furniture was used from other areas of the home and arranged to create a well defined conversation area.

Lamps were placed behind the sofa to provide more light and achieve a more balanced look.  Finally, we gathered the client's southwestern artwork and gave it more impact by placing it above the sofa.
